Continuing to Build

What a year last year was, for everyone. The ups and downs. The highs and lows. Overall, it was an absolute rush. I really found my passion last year as a photographer, and worked to find as many opportunities as I could to get behind the lens. I took over 25,000 shots last year (an no, there was no "spraying and praying".....well maybe a couple times in those unpredictable moments). I was so happy with how my little Z50 held up to the days shooting all day long, in the dust and dirt, and never let me down. I learned a lot, and made some great friends.

This year is a new chapter. A chance to build on things I learned last year. A chance to make new connections, share new stories, and be apart of new teams. The early mornings, late nights, and trips on the road are a grind that is part of the journey. I have become vested (and invested) in this, and am ready to grab this year by the horns. I've upgraded to full-frame, but still will be toting the trusty Z50 along. I am hopeful for a year of good times, good health, and a lot of smiles for everyone.

I decided to add a blog to my website to share more of my story and your story as I capture events. It's a place where I can expand a little more versus an Instagram or Facebook post.

Thanks for coming along for the ride, and stay tuned! This will be a fun one.
